Manufacturing Facilities
Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. corporate headquarters are in Warrenville, Illinois, approximately 35 miles west of downtown Chicago. Our manufacturing facility is located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Our Automated Assembly Systems design and sales office is located in Pembroke, Massachusetts and we have a select group of manufacturers’ sales representatives throughout North America.
Chicago Rivet & Machine is the parent company of H & L Tool Company, Inc.. H & L is located in Madison Heights, Michigan and is ISO/IATF 16949:2016 certified. H & L Tool is a leading manufacturer of products manufactured through precision turning and cold forming technology.
History
Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. has a proud history and tradition that began with its founding as a manufacturer of brake lining and harness rivets in 1920. We built our first rivet setting machine in 1925. Our most popular riveter in our automatic equipment line, the Model 912, was first developed in 1946. Our first Model 912 that we built (pictured below) is still operational today. We became a public company in 1930, with shares currently trading on the New York Stock Exchange. We have a proud history of having been a pivotal supplier during the Second World War, as we were honored by the United States government for our production of fasteners used in aircraft wings, as well as other various munitions. Today, we are a critical supplier to numerous Fortune 500 organizations in the automotive, appliance and electrical industries, to name a few. Chicago Rivet & Machine Co. operates in the industrial fastener industry through the production and sale of the industry’s most complete line of cold formed parts, assembly equipment, tools and machine parts for riveting equipment, as well as automated assembly systems.
